less than six months until our wedding and that's been the main focus around here. designing favors, table numbers, menus, programs and on and on. i had this little delusion that i was planning a party and that i wouldn't be one of 'those girls' that would get completely caught up in the wedding industry. i don't think i've completely gone and lost my mind (yet) but, it's amazing how many details there are and the time it actually does take.
the upside? i enjoy all of this design work and the details. with all of the major vendors booked and just the small things left, i'm quite happy to sit in front of the computer and decide which shade of green is just right and which fonts will work best together. i wish i could share some of the results here but, i do want the element of surprise on the day of for our guests who pop in to read this tired old blog.
scrapbooking has fallen away a bit but, i'm still doing one layout a week for the sketch this! site. pushes me some without being overwhelming. here are my last two sketch layouts, both with photos from this summer:
as autumn approaches, i'm hoping that i'll want to spend more time in my scrap space creating. if not, i'll have my monthly crops to rely on - next one is september 27th and i can't wait!
